Jess & Todd are getting married next November at The Doyle and I will have the privilege of photographing their momentous day. For their engagement session, Jess wanted to explore East Fremont and take pictures in front of signage and lights that translated to an “old Vegas vibe”. The photograph she sent me as inspiration is actually one of my favorite black and white photographs of a couple in the 1950’s perusing through Downtown and standing underneath the now closed Fremont Hotel & Casino.  We had a wonderful time getting to know each other as well as allowing them both to get a feel for my photography style. Engagement sessions are a great opportunity for couples and photographers to open up to each other and get a sense of what to expect on the wedding day.
