I graduated with a Bachelors of Arts with a concentration in Photography and a minor in Art History – This translates so evidently into my wedding work as I want to make images for my clients who appreciate intimate, photojournalistic and an artistic viewpoint of storytelling. Coming up on four years of photographing weddings and I love it more and more each day.
.
Honest human connection is very important to me. I am so lucky to have made wonderful friendships over the years and these people still stand by my side and will continue to do as I grow older, and vice versa.
.
I am generally a quiet person. I often listen and analyze all that is going on around me before speaking. Don’t get me wrong, I can rally up a bridal party like a boss, but am often tacitly photographing those real in-between moments on wedding days.
.
Everyday I strive to be kind and non-judgemental – everyone is on their own journey, and we don’t know half of what they are going through. My mama taught me that – endlessly thankful for her.
.
Some say my laugh is contagious, I say it’s a bit overboard…a scream type kinda thing, y’know?
.
Salty over sweet.
.
Hope you all are staying safe and checking in with yourself often both physically and mentally through this time. I personally just can’t wait to start photographing people and their love stories again.
Until then,
Andi
